Electronics Recycling
Starkey accepts electronic waste for recycling from the general public and local businesses, and employs individuals with disabilities to disassemble the electronic items and sort the parts for sale to local recycling companies.
Through its e-cycling program, Starkey accepts:
- Desktop computers
- Peripherals (such as external drives)
- Keyboards
- Printers
- Keyboards
- Mice
- Laptops
- Flat screen monitors
- Fax machines
- Tablets
- Cell phones
- VCRs and DVD players
We are not able to accept televisions or large CRT computer monitors.
Donations of electronic items can be dropped off at Starkey’s main facility at 4500 W. Maple in Wichita, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. The drop-off area is on the north end of the building. Guests can ring the doorbell and a team will come to unload the items from the vehicle.
