Our capital campaign has come to a successful conclusion

On December 5, Starkey board members, elected officials and lead donors broke ground on a new building that will mark the first major expansion of day program facilities for the organization in 25 years. The first phase of the $4 million Saving Lives Capital Campaign is a 20,000-square-foot Life Enrichment Program building that will feature activity rooms, a cafeteria with a training kitchen, areas where staff can provide personal assistance for people who need that level of care, quiet spaces and covered entry points. Construction of the building will be complete by early 2021, at which time the Morrison Building where the programs are currently housed will be renovated to accommodate the Gateway Program. Hutton is the company selected for design and construction of the project.
