On April 5, Starkey’s new 20,000-square-foot Life Enrichment Building opened to day programs for the first time. Individuals in that program are enjoying the purpose-built spaces, including the Cargill teaching kitchen, the homerooms and activity rooms, ample accessible restroom space and quiet areas and patios. This marks the completion of the first phase of Starkey’s Saving Lives Campaign.
The second phase is well underway, with renovation of an existing building for a new front entry, office and conference space, and a new Gateway Program Building. That program opening is slated for June 2021.
