If you or your family members have benefited from the care, the support and the programs offered by Starkey, you might have considered what you can do to give back.

Or you may be an individual who understands the many needs of people with intellectual/developmental disabilities, and you wish to leave behind a concrete recognition of the excellent services provided by Starkey.

Perhaps you have worked at Starkey, and have seen firsthand the needs and challenges of providing quality care and support for the persons with disabilities.

Sometimes, concerns about personal or family financial security and situations may limit what you may be able to give during your lifetime. Yet, through careful and thoughtful estate planning, you can protect the future financial welfare of your family members while fulfilling your personal charitable wishes.

Here are just a few options to consider:

  • Instruct your lawyer to prepare a simple, inexpensive codicil to your existing will, creating a bequest for Starkey.
  • Amend an existing insurance policy to add Starkey as a beneficiary.
  • Amend your retirement plan or 401K to add Starkey as a beneficiary.

Such thoughtful consideration and support of Starkey’s future ability to care for the next generation of individuals with disabilities will be most gratefully received.

Starkey, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
